The blog lives again!

OK, so it's been more than 5 months since we've updated our Bridget blog. So we are recommitting to our efforts to keep everyone up to date with the changes in Bridget's life.

So here's where we are.

Walking? Yes. Running? Yes.

Talking? Not Really. She does make a lot of noises. And tells lots of stories, but I wouldn't say she's talking yet.

Climbing? Oh baby! Couches, chairs, steps, beds... you name it and she's climbing it. Thankfully she learned first how to get down before climbing so she's relatively safe. Though she does take a tumble when she gets too excited.

Outdoors? Most Definitely. Bridget is a huge fan of trips out side. Especially to the park. Thankfully there are a huge number of parks in Manhattan that are very toddler friendly. Swings and slides are by far her favorite. She has learned how to set down at the top of a slide and nudge herself forward.

She also made it to her first football game since she was born. (She did witness the K-State Texas game two years ago, but her view was somewhat obstructed since she wasn't born yet.) She was at first pretty scared at the North Texas game this year, but after she got used to the noise she seemed to enjoy herself. We made it through three quarters, and it was really just her bedtime that caused us to leave. Unfortunatel we forgot to take our camera so we didn't get any pictures of her there, but we do of course have pictures to share.

The first picture is of Bridget with her pig puppet. She has figured how to put her arm into the puppet, so she loves walking around with it like we do for her. When you make the puppet talk it plays the notes to several songs. A definite hit.

The second pic is really just for my sister since I know how much she loves Panda Express. Bridget has learned how to drink with a straw. So she's always begging for a drink from our water glasses. Unfortunately the learning process for drinking from a straw involved a lot of backwash and blowing bubbles.

That's about it. We will work to post more so check back often to see how our baby girl is doing.
