Yes that would be our remote

What is a babies fascination with everything they should not touch/chew. Bridget's newest favorites include the remote, cell phones, and laptops. It's pretty amazing actually. They are kind of large and unweildy but she can get them to her mouth pretty fast. Well not the laptop.

I give most of the credit for her ability to crawl to our tendency to leave the remote laying on the floor. It's quite the motivator.

And yes, she is now crawling with ease. It was about a week ago that she finally perfected the big girl crawl. The army crawl or elbow crawl seemed to be working so well for her that she just stopped trying, but then one day it was like she thought "there must be something better" so away she went.

It's pretty funny watching her now. You can tell how badly she wants something by how she crawls to get there. If she's just wondering around, she uses her knees/hands mostly. If she wants to get somewhere its mostly the elbow crawl again. If she's in a big hurry (like if Mom left the room) it's an odd combination of elbow/army/hands&knees. Its kind of frantic really. But hey, frantic is a good word to describe her when Mom leaves the room.
